Entering full time motherhood

The moment you use your husband's surname as your surname, working women's careers were mostly affected. Couples mostly discussed about where they will spend their honeymoon, having babies, how many children could they have, what could be their children's future and other similar things. Upon pregnancy, normally, there are many things that come to a working mom's mind. Some of it is who will take care of their first ever baby?
You have ideas in your mind on who you will entrust your baby but these are things you should consider:

1. It is better to entrust your kids to your parents but...
some grannies doesn't like kids. Most of their lives, they put a lot of effort raising their own kids and finally they will again raise little ones? Some parents-in-laws just care about minor things regarding their grandchildren. They have a lot of thoughts and opinions that is really disturbing but they don't want to carry your baby not even for 30 minutes. On the other hand, some grannies really really love kids! There is a saying that the fruit of their children is much loved than the kids of their own. So you need to consider whether you could entrust your kids to your parents.

2. Someone from your relatives but...
you need to consider their plans. They will not spend their lifetime taking care of your kids. This task could also affect your relationship with them. Since they are your relatives, they will act more comfortable. Sometimes, you will be the one who will adjust instead of them. You also need to ask them about their future plan. Do they have dreams of having a real job outside your house? Do they want to study or something like that?

3. Hire a nanny but...
you should check their background. You also need to consider their benefits such as health and other social  security benefits. It would also be difficult for your nanny and your kids to part ways when the right time comes or when sudden budget cut happens.

4. Be a full time mom but...
now this is a serious decision. After struggling from school to get an education that will help you find a better job, you will suddenly shift to a job that doesn't have salary. You need to ready yourself for a big change! Are you ready to keep your make ups and dress since you will only use them once a week? Are you ready to cut your budget for your personal stuffs like clothing, perfumes, shoes and bags? Are you ready to give your whole life to your kids? Be realistic. It is true that you will have the most precious time of your life seeing your kids growing but are you ready to face the negativity it could bring?
